One of the great features about eCart is the Social Shopping feature we are working at.  Social Shopping is a hybrid of traditional shopping and e-commerce where customers shop in a social networking environment benefiting from other customer reviews. “We have an integration feature that allows customers access to FaceBook, Twitter and other Social Network sites. Customers will have the ability to write reviews and complete summaries about the products they have purchased, including attaching images or videos to upload to Fickr or YouTube.”

Another innovative feature is the ability to create Categories Filters. These filters allow customers to drill down to exactly what they want to purchase. Filtering can be used for different fields including brands, manufacturers and sizes. The filters work by letting the user choose from a drop down box to filter the products that are displayed. An example would be to limit the products to ones between $25 and $50. This could reduce the number of products from 200 down to 8. Product filters will enhance the shopping experience for customers and let them find the product they are looking for within as few clicks as possible.
